Somatic Energy Healing
Our energetic body absorbs and holds onto emotional energy—like lint collecting over time—contributing to tension, pain, chronic illness, negative thought patterns, and repeated cycles.
Somatic Energy Healing is a holistic approach that integrates body awareness (somatics) with energy work to release stored tension, regulate the nervous system, and restore balance. It acknowledges that emotional experiences and trauma are not just psychological but also deeply embedded in the body and energetic field.
This practice involves techniques such as breathwork, movement, guided awareness, and hands-on energy work to help release trapped emotions, shift stagnant energy, and promote a sense of safety, connection, and well-being.
By working with both the physical and energetic body, Somatic Energy Healing supports deeper self-awareness, emotional regulation, and a greater sense of ease—helping individuals move beyond survival patterns and into a more empowered, embodied way of living.
In-person Healing sessions are available at my Kelowna office Another Chapter, ONLY.

Based on the principle of healing using living energy within something, be it your body, plants, sun/moonlight, food, sound therapy, acupuncture & homeopathy, or crystals (to name a few); the goal of vibrational energy healing is to bring your body into a state of emotional and physical harmony and safety.
By approaching each client with a trauma-informed lens, Lea is dedicated to offering a unique and safe healing that assists each client’s physical and emotional vibrational body. By engaging in a gentle release of emotional pressure, disease & dis-ease, she combines the healing modalities of Reiki, Quantum Touch Therapy, Medical Intuition, the Shamanic principles of spiritual psychotherapy, and her own resource of heart healing through the eye of the heart.
As a healing practitioner for a over a decade, Lea is dedicated to providing supportive care through the parasympathetic nervous system, ensuring a gentle alignment of cellular energy within the body.

Once greeted, you will be invited into the office with the light scent of aromatherapy oils diffusing in the air. After a brief chat, you will be invited to lay on the heated massage table with pillows to support your head and knees as well as the option of having a weighted eye pillow to eliminate light distraction. After settling in, the soft music will begin and you will be offered the choice of having hands-on or hands-off healing to move through the session.
Other tools that may be offered during the session are the sounds of bells, tuning forks and crystals.
Things you may feel during hands-on healing would be heat, pressure (not pain), and/or tingling, or you may feel nothing at all. All or one of these sensations may not occur where her hands are positioned, but where the innate intelligence of your body takes the energy. For example, if Lea is resting her hands on the crown of your head, you may sense gentle relaxation of the muscles within your lower back or belly. SO fun!
You are free to talk through the entire session or take the opportunity to sink into relaxation. Lea finds a client snoring in sleep as the ultimate compliment!

Energetic healing is meant to be relaxing, supportive and well worth the balance that occurs within your days following. An excellent complement to any alternative therapy or counselling to assist in integration of heavy emotion.
All energetic healings performed by Lea will run for approximately three days following your session to allow a more gentle integration of the energies into your body. Some clients find the need to deeply rest within 24 hours, while others are super energized and ready to take on the day!
Each client responds in an individual way based on their body and stress load. It is often reported that clients feel slightly more thirsty and crave movement following a session. It is recommended to always listen to your body and to assist the healing with hydration, gentle movement and clean eating. Avoiding alcohol is highly recommended for at least 72 hours following a session.
-
That is entirely up to you and your comfort level. Some clients attend Lea's office weekly and combine healing alongside their therapy to help integrate heavy emotion. Some attend monthly or prefer to book a session when/if acute stress is present, or they are in need of some dedicated self care.
Energetic healing is a complementary service that can be utilized at any time.

There is absolutely nothing you need to do to prepare for a session. Come as you are!
